Eagle Island Festival - Show Your Support and Help Raise Funds for Idaho Chinese Organization
Know More About Sue Chew and Her Re-election Campaign!!!
Profile of Sue Chew
Sue Chew is the 3rd generation of Chinese born in America. His father asked each of his children to please give back to their community. Sue Chew has been here in Boise since 1986 when she came to do a postgraduate program in geriatrics at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and she is a PharmD pharmacist. Until recently when the public policy work became ever more crucial, she taught at the college level at BSU and also at CWI in addition to being a member of the Idaho Legislature. Her committee work is in the two heavy ones--healthcare and education. Her work this year included the anti-bullying legislation and the collaboration between law enforcement and pharmacists to curtail meth lab proliferation. Her passion is to make sure people who do not have a voice be able to be heard--and so the Peanut Butter + Jelly sandwich role play at the Capitol for our children last year.

Check out Information about Health Care Assistance Programs
We have added a new area on our website about health care assistance programs available to low income community members or uninsured visiting parents who may be prone to acute or exacerbated chronic diseases.
The inforamtion can be accessed by navigating to Community->Health Care Information using the top menu.
The information will be updated as they become available by our volunteers. Please be sure to visit often.
Please register to stay informed about our community
In the past, we have been using manually assembled email lists to send event announcements, news, and other information. As our community continues to grow, it becomes very difficult to maintain an updated email list. We have also heavily relied on work email addresses, which may not be appropriate.
