The Chinese have an extensive history in Idaho dating back to the 1800’s during the Gold Rush and Union Pacific railroad building era. Our hope is to grow strong, prosper, and instill within our children Chinese heritage and pride.
Today, our goals seek to improve Idaho through economic and social advancements such as our lunar New Year celebration, middle autumn gathering, dragon parade and Summer & Autumn picnics.
Idaho Chinese community members have significantly contributed to promoting Chinese culture and diversity. Our committee members strive to establish a cohesive Chinese community which consolidates all Chinese groups in Idaho.
