Protect and restore our beautiful foothill trails!

The ICO Youth Branch is volunteering with Ridge to Rivers to protect and restore our beautiful foothill trails! 25-30 volunteers are needed for this event, and slots are limited. Sign up as soon possible, so as to not miss out on this great opportunity. Let us have some fun serving our community while connect wit heach other and have  agreat hike outdoor!

Location:

For this event, we will be meeting at the Grove Trailhead in Hulls Gulch. There is a small parking area that is 0.5 miles from the 8th Street/Lemp Intersection. If the road turns to dirt, you have gone too far. There is no restroom or water at the parking area, so please come prepared.

Volunteer requirements:

There is no age limit for volunteers. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes for hiking off trail. Dress for variable Idaho weather meaning sunscreen, hat, ect... if sunny, and layers if it's windy and cool.

Responsibilities

We will be taking care of a restoration area by removing invasive species and weeding around restoration plantings. Bring long handled shovels and work gloves from home, but the organization will have plenty of tools and gloves to share. We will work no more than 2 hours.
